Beast Aminolytes Review

Thanks to Irish Iron and Beast for letting me do a review on Beast Aminolytes. Very generous with the samples, and I wanted to knock out a few of them before posting a review. I took every sample Intra-Workout. Without further adieu:

Aminolytes, Watermelon flavor

Taste: 6.5/10
I feel bad about this one. I know everyone loves this flavor..but its sweet. It is very, very sweet. At first its delicious, but I don't wanna sip something this sweet during my workout. Had to force the last quarter of it back. Like I said, everyone else's review I've seen has praised this flavor, but it's too sweet for me. It's not terrible, but..not a fan personally

Mixability: 6.5/10
In all fairness, it IS a lot of BCAAs. So this is completely understandable. But I've never had this much trouble getting a BCAA supplement to mix. Poured it in 12 oz of water, shook it for awhile, and there's still clumps at the bottom. Had to give up trying to get it to completely mix. Most of it mixed without problems..but there's definitely clumps at the bottom that you can feel when ya drink it

Endurance: 8.5/10
But now we start getting to the good stuff haha. Very noticeable difference here. I like the BCAAs, beta-alanine, EAAs, and electrolytes. Here it comes together and really helps you get in a few more sets before you start to realize you're getting a little sore. It also (for me) held the fatigue at bay a bit once it was noticable. I liked it in this regard

Recovery: 8.5/10
Anoter area where Aminolytes excells. After the workout, recovery is definitely enhanced. Normally I feel pretty sore the rest of the day, and slightly the next morning after a heavy day. With this, felt moderately sore the rest of the day, and nothing the next morning.

Final Thoughts:
I did enjoy this supplement. I can get around the taste and mixability with what it did for me during the workout. It really helps with endurance and recovery. I'd definitely be interested in getting a tub if Beast comes out with more flavors

negged for not liking taste!

Don't worry about it, I'd much rather have an honest review on what you think of it than someone just rating it 10/10 because it was free. Hopefully we'll be expanding our flavors as we get more and more into the powder game.

Thanks for the review!

Nice review man, my buddy is supposed to hook me up with a few servings from his tub to try! I know he is cutting down the serving size and adding more water to mellow out flavor, sounds promising and can not wait to try.

Ya, I still have 2 sample packets. I'll probably try it out with around 16-18 oz and see how the flavor/mixability is then. If I do and if there's a significant difference, I'll update this

Sorry to hear that the taste was abit too sweet for you. I would also recommend using more water as that may do the trick for you.

Either way thanks for your honesty in this review.

I'm almost done with a tub of Aminolytes. absolutely love the stuff as it's done wonders for my recovery and endurance. I will say that the first time I tried it i hated the taste as well - i started with two scoops and didn't use a lot of water. I've learned that the taste really shines in more water - i'm doing a heaping scoop in 25 oz of water and it's quite good. I think you just have to play around with the water/supp ratio to find your sweet spot.

As far as mixability, i've noticed that it won't completely dissolve on the first try. I'll mix at home, go to the gym, sip on it a little, shake it between sets, and everything ends up dissolving eventually. Halfway through my workout i'll add a little more water and that helps mixing (and taste) as well.

Overall it's a really great product
